After reviewing the reports of different LGUs, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque announced in a virtual press briefing on Thursday that the IATF-EID has decided and approved yesterday in Resolution no. 35-A that all provinces, cities, and municipalities (including Davao City) in the Philippines will be placed under General Community Quarantine starting May 16 except National Capital Region, Laguna, and Cebu City.
The City Government of Davao has yet to release a signed Executive Order on the GCQ guidelines.
